Hanoi capital is not only famous for sitting sacred and ancient pagodas but also known for many Catholic works with beautiful Western charm. In those buildings, it is impossible not to mention Ham Long Church - one of the largest and most beautiful churches in Hanoi.

Ham Long Church is located at 21, Ham Long Street, Hoan Kiem District to serve the religious beliefs of many Catholics in the capital. This project was designed by Vietnamese architect, Doctor Than (hometown in Ha Hoi, Thuong Tin, Hanoi), designed and completed in France in December 1934 with a height of 17m in Western style. Extremely unique features. It is considered one of the most beautiful churches in Hanoi. Although not large scale, the decoration is not sophisticated, but here it has a unique feature compared to most other Christian churches in Hanoi during the French colonial period. The unique point of the church is the diversity in construction materials. People have used many construction materials in folk such as: lime, cork, bamboo, paper ... to create arches, effectively counteracting during the ceremony without the need for modern sound equipment. So,
